Designed, built, and launched a custom high-power rocket to demonstrate structural integrity, aerodynamic stability, and propulsion integration under Tripoli Level 1 certification parameters. The vehicle completed a successful nominal flight and recovery deployment over the launch site in Timmins for Launch Canada 2026.
Airframe Dimensions: 47.5 in length, 4.0 in outer diameter.
Mass Parameters: 1,451 g dry mass (~3.2 lbs without motor); 1,730 g gross liftoff mass with motor loaded.
Propulsion: AeroTech H100W motor configured with a 7-second delay.
Aerodynamic Stability:
Center of Gravity (CG) at 29.8 in from nose tip,
Center of Pressure (CP) at 35.6 in, yielding a stable margin of 1.44 cal (12.1%).
Simulated Performance Metrics:
Predicted Apogee: 475 m (~1,558 ft)
Max Velocity: 104 m/s (Mach 0.306)
Time to Apogee / Optimum Delay: ~7.37 seconds
Off-the-Rod Velocity: 12.5 m/s
